• Internet Explorer 4.0 service pack 2 or higher.
• Netscape Navigator 4.73 or higher (6.x and 7.x are not supported at this time).
• AOL version 5.0 or higher.

• Internet Explorer 5 for Macintosh or higher.
  

Browser Settings

Our program requires the following browser settings to allow dynamic programming.

• Cookies must be allowed. Note: IE 6.x users must set the Privacy setting to Medium or lower.
• ActiveX controls must be enabled.
• JavaScript must be enabled.

Proxy Connection

If your internet connection requires a proxy server, you need to ensure that your browser settings are set up for both HTTP and secure sites. Click here to learn how to adjust your proxy settings.

Monitor Display Settings

Our program requires a resolution of at least 800 x 600 pixels and is best viewed with system fonts set to Small Fonts. Click here to learn how to adjust your Windows display properties.

Printing Requirements

Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® 4.05 or higher must be installed to print your tax return.

General Use of Our Program

Security Time-out
For the security of your tax information, our program automatically requires you to log in again after 20 minutes of inactivity.

Page Loading Issues
The information on every page in our program is saved when you navigate from one page to the next within our program. You should make sure each page has fully loaded before continuing to enter your tax data.

Printing Issues
When using an Adobe® Acrobat® product that displays PDF files on a Macintosh, your Acrobat window may display behind the browser window.

Common Error Messages

When moving from page to page or attempting to print, you may encounter the following error messages:

• This page contains both secure and nonsecure items
• Error Locating Object Handler
